Acknowledgements

I/WE UNDERSTAND that the breach of any of these agreements and/or rules as stated in the Parent/Student Handbook by any student or parent is subject to disciplinary action. Any violation deemed serious may result in my child’s expulsion from Saints Simon and Jude Catholic School.

I/We understand that any financial concerns will be discussed only with the SSJ Business Manager or SSJ Administration and not with other parents. These matters are confidential and must not be discussed with others unless written consent is provided by Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School or the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange.

  • I/We understand that prompt payment of tuition and fees is essential to ensure the school’s operational expenses and is a condition for a child’s continued enrollment.
  • The registration fee is due completion of the enrollment packet for the 2026 – 2027 school year.
  • Registration and school fees are non-refundable, as Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School incurs costs based on planned enrollment.
  • Tuition payments are due according to the installment plan selected. Tuition is considered late if not paid on or before the scheduled due date(s).
  • A late fee will be assessed if payment deadlines are not met.
  • I/We understand that if tuition assistance is awarded, I/we are bound by the stipulations outlined in the tuition assistance offer letter. Delinquent tuition payments will result in the revocation of any tuition assistance, and the full tuition balance will become immediately due.
  • I/We further understand that questions or concerns regarding tuition assistance must be directed to the SSJ Business Manager or SSJ Administration.
  • I/We understand that tuition and fees cover only a portion of the total cost of educating my/our child. Therefore, I/we agree to contribute a minimum of $950 in annual school giving.
  • All Annual school giving obligations must be completed by May 1, 2027.
  • I/We understand that failure to make tuition payments on time may result in the temporary or permanent dismissal of my/our child(ren).
  • I/We understand that it is the responsibility of the parent(s) to initiate communication with the SSJ Business Manager or SSJ Administration regarding financial concerns or hardship. With proper communication and adherence to established procedures, accounts should not become delinquent.
  • I/We further understand that failure to pay tuition in full will prevent my/our child(ren) from enrolling at Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School or any other elementary or high school within the Diocese of Orange until all outstanding balances are paid in full.
  • I/We understand that if I/we incur an outstanding balance, may prevent me from being offered re-enrollment for the following academic year.
  • NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds)/RETURNED CHECKS are subject to a $30 returned check fee.
  • I/We understand that at any time during the school year, checks that are returned from the bank unpaid may accrue an additional charge of $30 per returned check and that replacement payment must be made by cash or money order. If the check is for tuition a late fee will be collected through the FACTS tuition program.
  • I/We understand that this includes any and all monetary transactions for StayCare, sports, field trips, fundraisers, etc.
