Principal’s Message

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are honored that you are considering Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School for the education of your child. We understand that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you can make. We value your interest in our school community and look forward to partnering with you as you make this important decision.

Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School is steeped in Catholic tradition. With over 50 years of service in this community, Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School is committed to evangelizing and educating all of our students. Our teachers are talented, experienced, professional educators who provide a challenging, yet nurturing environment in which every child is afforded the opportunity to succeed. Many of our faculty hold advanced degrees in education.  We are a non-profit school that is funded through tuition, fundraising, and donations. Everyone at Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School, including staff, faculty, and finance committee members, work tirelessly to keep tuition costs as low as possible and to provide financial assistance to families in need. Approximately seventy-five thousand dollars is awarded as financial assistance yearly.

The philosophy of Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School centers on four ideals: forming Catholic values, striving for academic excellence and a quality education, fostering the unique potential of each student within a Catholic identity, and developing faith through service to others and active membership in the Catholic parish community.

Our Schoolwide Learning Expectations reflect our commitment to educate the whole child spiritually, academically, social and emotionally, physically, and globally. We offer a diverse curriculum including Spanish and Music for all grades. We attend daily mass and observe and participate in feast days and holy days during the liturgical season.  Additionally, our middle school students are offered a chance to experience electives such as Forensics, Lego Robotics, Classical Guitar, Graphic Design, Agriculture, Leadership, and Drama.

We believe parents are the primary educators and our mission is to partner with parents in order to provide an environment in which children can experience learning and love through the Catholic faith. We are committed to academic excellence by offering a comprehensive education through Catholic traditions and values. We nurture and value the uniqueness of all of our students and encourage them to develop their spiritual, academic, and creative potential.

We look forward to working with you as you make this important decision about the education of your child.

With Gratitude,

Mrs. Denise Grant
