Running Club

Running Club

The Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School Running Club is a seasonal after school program designed to help students build endurance, stay active, and develop a lifelong love for fitness. Meeting during the late winter and early spring months, the club prepares students to participate in the Kids Run the OC event—an exciting community race that promotes health and wellness among youth.

Throughout the program, students train incrementally by running short distances, participating in fun workouts, and learning about healthy habits. The coach guides students through warm-ups, running techniques, and goal setting, all while encouraging a positive mindset and teamwork.

The Running Club is open to all fitness levels and emphasizes personal progress, perseverance, and school spirit. It’s a great way for students to challenge themselves, support one another, and proudly represent SSJ at the culminating race event.
